Hmmm. I could try it for San Francisco, thouigh I must admit I've never thought about where to get cupcakes before! (See how educational blogging can be?) Don't have a digital camera, but I can still try and get some photos.

Oh, you must! If you take some pics with a disposable camera, I am happy to scan them for you.

Its ALWAYS important to know where you can get the best cupcake in your city!

Tessaj, Citizen Cake (in SF) has superb cupcakes.

Beth, I'd like to participate from Seattle. Although I already have a favorite cupcake spot but I'll attempt to keep an open mind.

I can also get pics developed on a cd; don't think that's too difficult (not really a techie person...it took me days to figure out how to post a pic on teejsmuse!)

Will try Citizen Cake and also Just Desserts; I'm sure finding many more (I mean, MANY more) won't be too tough :)

You are in, Vanessa!

Okay, I'm officially in, too! (Have spent way too much time looking up bakeries on-line without actually eating....)

Found this for you, beth:

wow!
I'm here too... it's a hard work, I know... : )

would you like someone in cheyenne, wyoming (not sure how many options here) or perhaps in denver, colorado? i make weekend trips to colorado and i think it'd be fun!!! ;)

I have some folks who would like to try this...we could do Washington, D.C. and maybe Baltimore if you don't get someone for that area.

this is such a cool idea...

I'm in Baltimore.

lovely idea!

as a fellow NYC resident, i might add amy's bread, joe (hopefully you can snag an amy sedaris cupcake), and 'wichcraft to that list of deliciousness.

Any tips on where to get yummy cupcakes in Denver??

A sublime blog ... Brava!

My all time favorite cupcake havens are the Little Cupcake Bakeshop and of course, The Magnolia Bakery.

try kara's cupcakes in san francisco...good! www.karascupcakes.com

I MUST join this :) I am obsessed with cupcakes.

I love the cupcakes at Crumbs on Amsterdam on the upper west side and the Kitchenette down in the financial district in nyc. The cupcakes at the Cupcake Cafe are beautiful but a little sickening and I love the ambience of Magnolia and how you get to pick out your own and put it in your own little box. Now I live in Tampa and haven't found a decent cupcake yet.

Must try American Cupcake in San Francisco! We're new and our cupcakes will blow your mind. www.americancupcake.com

anyone in denver? looking for THE best cupcakes in town! please help a cupcake fan out?! cupcake cheers, rachel

These truly are the BEST tasting cupcakes that I have ever had. Very moist and fluffy, the frosting was perfect. Every thing about happy cakes is classy, from the delicious cupcakes to the very cute logo. They make everyone else look like amateurs. I can not wait till they open the store front, they are well on there way to becoming Denver's favriote!
