Juicy Couture makes some great faux fur jackets that don't look cheap and acrylic (like this one above in a tear out from Bazaar). I have one from a few years back, and I still wear it all the time.

This jacket is great in person, except that it's a tad too heavy and warm for Southern California girls like me.
